Welcome to Click Events ("App", "Platform", "we", "us", "our"), operated by Canvas & Code Factory.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the App, including all features related to event creation, invitations, RSVP tracking, shared photo albums, chat and Vendor Marketplace ("Services"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you ("User", "you", "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
1.1 You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and host an event on the App.
1.2 By using the App, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
2. Description of Services
The App allows Users to:
- Create digital event invitations ("Invites") and share them with individuals of their choosing ("Guests");
- Track RSVP responses from invited Guests;
- Upload, view, and share photographs to a common event album accessible to invited participants;
- Communicate with other event participants via an in-app chat feature;
- Search for and access contact details of third-party event vendors (venues, caterers, return gift vendors, and event planners) through the in-app Marketplace.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Services at any time, with or without notice.
3. Account Registration
3.1 You must register using accurate, current, and complete information (such as name, phone number, or email).
3.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3.3 You must notify us immediately at canvasandcodefactory@gmail.com of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Event Creation, Invites & RSVP
4.1 As an event host ("Host"), you are solely responsible for the accuracy of event details, guest lists, and any information shared through Invites.
4.2 By adding a Guest’s contact details (phone number, email, etc.) to send an Invite, you confirm that you have the necessary consent from that individual to share their information with us for this purpose.
4.3 RSVP data (attendance status, guest count, etc. if collected) is shared with the Host for event planning purposes. We are not responsible for how Hosts use RSVP data once received.
4.4 We are not liable for any event cancellations, changes, or disputes between Hosts and Guests. The App is a facilitation tool only and is not a party to any event.
5. Shared Photo Albums
5.1 Users participating in an event may upload photographs to a shared album visible to other invited participants of that specific event.
5.2 By uploading photos, you:
- Confirm you own the rights to the photo or have permission to share it;
- Grant other participants of that event a limited license to view, download, and share those photos for personal, non-commercial use;
- Grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, and display the content solely for providing the Services.
5.3 You must not upload photos that violate the privacy or rights of any individual depicted without their consent, are obscene, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful.
5.4 We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or applicable law, including under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder.
5.5 Individuals in shared photos who wish to have specific photos removed may contact the Host directly or reach out to our Grievance Officer (Section 14).
6. Chat Feature
6.1 The in-app chat is intended for event-related communication between participants of the same event.
6.2 You agree not to use the chat feature to send content that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, obscene, defamatory, infringing, or that impersonates any person.
6.3 Chat messages may be stored on our servers to enable message history and delivery. We do not proactively monitor chat content but may access it in response to a valid legal request or a report of abuse, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
6.4 As an intermediary under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, we are not liable for third-party content shared via chat, provided we comply with applicable due diligence obligations.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable Indian law;
- Upload viruses, malware, or attempt to breach the App’s security;
- Harass, stalk, or invade the privacy of any other User or Guest;
- Send unsolicited promotional invites, spam, or bulk messages;
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation;
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or extract data from the App without permission;
- Use the App to collect Guest data for any purpose other than the relevant event.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
8. Safety, Content Moderation, Reporting and Blocking
Click Events has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior.
- Users must not upload, publish, transmit, or share content that is unlawful, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, harassing, defamatory, invasive of privacy, or otherwise objectionable.
- Click Events may filter, restrict, hold for review, or remove content that violates these Terms. Accounts responsible for objectionable content or abusive behavior may be suspended or permanently terminated.
- Users can report objectionable content or abusive users through the reporting controls available in the app. Users can also block abusive users. Blocking immediately removes the blocked user’s content from the reporting user’s experience and notifies Click Events for moderation review.
- We review reports and take appropriate action within 24 hours, including removing violating content and suspending or terminating the responsible account when necessary.

9. Intellectual Property
9.1 The App, including its design, logos, trademarks, source code, and underlying technology, is the exclusive property of the Company and is protected under applicable Indian intellectual property laws.
9.2 Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use the Company’s trademarks or branding without prior written consent.
9.3 You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, invite text, etc.), subject to the limited licenses granted in Section 5.
10. Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party services (e.g., cloud hosting, SMS/WhatsApp gateways for sending invites, payment processors) to deliver its Services. Your use of such integrated services may be subject to the respective third party’s terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.
11. Marketplace (Vendor Listings)
11.1 The App provides a directory ("Marketplace") through which Users can search for and access contact details of third-party event vendors, including venues/locations, caterers, return gift vendors, and event planners ("Vendors").
11.2 We are not a party to any transaction. The App only facilitates discovery and connection between Users and Vendors. All bookings, negotiations, payments, contracts, and dealings between a User and a Vendor are strictly between the two of them. The Company is not a party to, and has no responsibility or liability for, any such transaction.
11.3 No endorsement or guarantee. Listing of a Vendor on the App does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee by the Company of that Vendor’s quality, reliability, legality, safety, or fitness for any purpose. We do not independently verify Vendor credentials, licenses, pricing, or the accuracy of information they provide, unless expressly stated otherwise on the App.
11.4 No liability for Vendor conduct. The Company shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, non-performance, poor service quality, fraud, payment disputes, or breach of contract arising from your dealings with any Vendor. Any disputes must be resolved directly between you and the Vendor.
11.5 Vendor-submitted content. Where Vendors list themselves or provide their own details, they are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information (pricing, availability, services offered, images, etc.) they submit. We reserve the right to remove any Vendor listing that we determine, at our discretion, to be false, misleading, or in violation of these Terms.
11.6 Payments. Unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific feature, all payments to Vendors are made directly by you to the Vendor through means outside the App, and the Company does not process, hold, or guarantee any such payments.
11.7 Due diligence. You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence (verifying credentials, licenses, references, contracts, etc.) before engaging any Vendor found through the Marketplace.
11.8 Direct contact. The App displays Vendor contact details to help you reach out to them directly. We do not transmit your contact details to Vendors — any communication you initiate with a Vendor, and any information you choose to share with them, is done directly by you, outside the App’s control.
11.9 Vendors using the App. If you are a Vendor listing your services, you agree to provide accurate and lawful information and comply with all applicable laws governing your trade or profession. We reserve the right to remove your listing if we determine, at our discretion, that it is false, misleading, or in violation of these Terms.
12. Data Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data, including guest contact details, photos, RSVP responses, and chat data, in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law. By using the App, you consent to such collection and processing.
13. Disclaimers
13.1 The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
13.2 We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
13.3 We are not responsible for the conduct of any User, Host, or Guest, on or off the App, or for the accuracy of event details, RSVP data, or content shared by Users.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, the Company, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed ₹5,000 (Rupees Five Thousand only).
15. Grievance Redressal
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the details of the Grievance Officer are provided below:

We will acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within the timeline prescribed under applicable law.
16. Termination
16.1 We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at our discretion, without notice, if you violate these Terms.
16.2 You may delete your account at any time through the App settings or by contacting us. Certain data (e.g., photos shared to a common event album accessed by other Guests) may persist for the benefit of other Users unless legally required to be deleted.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the App or email. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
